1. Who are we? - Data Controller 
We, Skłodowscy Limited Liability Company, are the Data Controller responsible for the personal data collected through our website, www.sklodowscy.eu. Our registered headquarters are located at ul. Kościuszki 43, 05-270 Marki, and we are entered into the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw, XIV Economic Department of the National Court Register, under the registration numberKRS 0000264193, REGON: 140672685, NIP: 1251402446.

f) Processing of job applicants' data
The protection of personal data of job applicants is of particular importance. To ensure lawful, fair, and transparent processing of your personal data, we have prepared the following information. It specifies how we handle your personal data and your rights during your participation in our recruitment processes.
 

We process personal data provided by you in your job application (e.g., in your CV, cover letter). Specifically, we may process the following information about you: first name, last name, date of birth, contact details (e.g., email, phone number, residential address), information regarding your education, professional qualifications, work experience, as well as your image (if you include your photo in application documents).

In the event of conducting competency tests and obtaining your consent to participate in such tests, we also process information regarding your knowledge, skills, and personality traits (e.g., information about your language skills or predispositions for a specific position).

We kindly ask you not to include sensitive data in your job application, such as information about your health status, disabilities, political views, religious beliefs, or any other data specified in Article 9 of the GDPR. If providing such data is necessary due to your specific situation, we will request your separate consent for processing such data.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:
a) Conducting recruitment for the position indicated in the job advertisement, for which you have submitted your application, including selecting candidates for entering into a civil law contract (if such a form of employment is specified in the job advertisement);
b) Conducting future recruitments for various positions, if you have given separate consent for this;
c) In the case of a positive recruitment outcome, for the purpose of preparing an employment contract or civil law contract (e.g., cooperation agreement), and providing you with necessary information regarding the commencement of work;

a) Your personal data specified in the Labor Code (Article 22(1)) or other legal provisions (such as your first name, last name, date of birth, contact information, education, professional experience) or data necessary for taking action before entering into an employment contract or civil law contract (e.g., your financial expectations, start date of work/service provision) are processed to fulfill our legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR) or due to their necessity to take action at your request before entering into an employment contract or civil law contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), and providing them will be necessary to participate in the recruitment process

b) By providing your email address and phone number, you consent to us processing this data under our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). This processing allows us to conduct electronic recruitment and communicate efficiently with candidates. Please note that providing this data is necessary to participate in the recruitment process.

e) In the event of a successful recruitment outcome, we process your personal data to the extent necessary for the preparation of an employment contract or civil law contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), as well as to provide you with necessary information before commencing work based on our legitimate interest. This interest involves providing you with information that will help both you and us to best prepare for your start of employment (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

f) In the event of any potential disputes between you and Skłodowscy regarding the recruitment process, we process your personal data based on our legitimate interest, which involves pursuing claims or defending against claims brought against us before courts or government authorities (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
 

How long do we process your personal data?
a) For Specific Position Application:
We will process your personal data for the duration necessary to conduct the recruitment process and select a candidate.
Subsequently, we will retain the data for approximately 6 months in case there is a need to repeat the recruitment process for any reason.
If you consent to the processing of your personal data for future recruitments, we will retain it for 2 years from the submission of your application.
b) Successful Recruitment:
If your recruitment is successful, we will process your personal data according to the principles and data retention periods applicable to employees.
We will provide you with this information once you commence work.

c) In the event of any potential disputes between you and Skłodowscy company, we will process your personal data for the purpose of pursuing or defending against claims. This data will be retained for a period of 3 years from the conclusion of the recruitment process. In certain cases, if required by legal regulations, we may process your data for a longer duration. Additionally, should we find that your candidacy matches the profile sought by another entity within the Skłodowscy Group, we may transfer the data from your CV to that specific entity.

Data provided to the Administrator by the User will be shared only with those entities with whom the Administrator has previously signed a data processing agreement, and the transfer of such data is necessary for external service provision to the Administrator, for example, in the scope of providing mailing platform, accounting, IT support, and IT system security.
Based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator, User data may be shared with entities within the Skłodowscy Group - only if we consider that another entity within the Group possesses qualifications, experience, or tools that better meet the needs expressed by the User.

 • Rectify (correct) your data if it is inaccurate,
 • Erase your data - if you believe we have no right to process your data, you can request its deletion,
 • Restrict the processing of your data - you can request the restriction of processing your personal data to store agreed-upon actions if your data is inaccurate or its processing is unlawful,
 • Object to the processing - you can object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes if such processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator, and in such case, we will cease such processing. You can also object to the processing of your data for other purposes, including profiling of your data, if the legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the Administrator. The objection should include justification for the objection by specifying the particular situation based on which you are objecting. The objection will not be considered if we demonstrate that the legitimate interest of the Administrator overrides your claim or that your data is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims against you.

• Right to Data Portability - This right applies to the data you have provided to us based on consent or contract, and that is processed in an automated manner. You can receive it in a structured format, such as XML, or we can directly transmit it to the designated data controller.

• You have the right to lodge a complaint if you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully. Complaints can be addressed to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, Warsaw) or any other supervisory authority.

Upon withdrawal, we will cease the processing of your data, unless there is another legal basis that allows us to continue. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing conducted before its withdrawal.
